AKE technologies, a leading provider in the field of special-purpose machine engineering, recently had the pleasure of welcoming the Rotary Club Passau-Dreiflüssestadt to its headquarters in Mollnhof. Around 20 club members, led by President Peter Niedermeier, took the opportunity to gain an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at an innovative technology company from Lower Bavaria.
Insights into Modern Production and Engineering Excellence
Managing Director Boris Schneidhuber personally guided the visitors through the modern production areas and presented AKE’s broad portfolio of capabilities. With around 230 employees across its sites in Patriching and Mollnhof, the company develops and manufactures customized production systems for assembly and testing technology as well as components for vehicle interiors. AKE’s customers include both renowned automotive suppliers and leading vehicle manufacturers around the world.
Highlights: Patented Shaker Technology and Cutting-Edge Innovations
A particular highlight of the visit was the presentation of AKE’s patented shaker technology. In the development of test benches for buzz, squeak, and rattle acoustics, AKE is among the internationally leading providers. The visitors also showed great interest in the company’s latest developments in e-mobility and its innovative solutions in membrane filtration technology.
Strong Regional Roots and Technological Innovation
The event offered space for valuable technical discussions and clearly demonstrated how technological innovation and regional commitment go hand in hand at AKE. The appreciation was also reflected in regional media coverage: the visit was described as an exchange with a “showcase company for special-purpose machine engineering.”
