As part of a group excursion, the retiree association Gaudianer Ruhstorf e.V. had the opportunity to take an exclusive look behind the scenes at AKE technologies GmbH. The visitors, who have been creating elaborate stage sets for the Gaudianer for many years, were given fascinating insights into the world of modern special-purpose machine engineering.

Welcome and Company Introduction

After a warm welcome by Managing Director Boris Schneidhuber, the guests learned more about the history, milestones, and future vision of AKE technologies. Particular emphasis was placed on innovative developments in the fields of e-mobility, automated production, and custom engineering solutions.

Tour of State-of-the-Art Production Facilities

Following the introduction, the group was invited to tour the production halls. Department Manager Hans-Jürgen Wimmer explained one of the highly advanced production systems for high-performance charging stations in detail. The group was especially impressed by the integration of modern robotics, screwdriving technology, and automated assembly processes – technology at its finest.

Exchange in a Comfortable Setting

After the factory tour, refreshments were served. Over a traditional snack, the visitors exchanged stories from the past and discussed the technological developments that have transformed mechanical engineering in recent decades.
